I work with my clients to incorporate as many vegetables, fruits, healthy grains and fats into their diets as they feel they can and, for most, lean animal proteins and dairy as well. The idea of “crowding out” unhealthy foods in our life speaks to me on so many levels and I love helping my clients experiment with their food choices and how they feel when eating certain foods. I believe most cravings present when your body is out of balance in some way. Do you find you have an unhealthy craving you can’t seem to escape from?
As someone who eats a plant based diet you’ll find I am consistently encouraging you to EAT YOUR FRUITS AND VEGGIES! The science and research is there and undeniable – people who eat a more plant based diet are healthier, live longer and have less disease. That being said you don’t have to be perfect to see the benefits of this. Let’s work together to create a MORE plant based lifestyle. I’ll share recipes, tips and ideas to help you learn how to cook and create delicious meals that include so many healthy clean foods that your body naturally eats less of the refined and processed foods we grab when in a hurry. Going out to eat? Not sure what to choose? We’ll work on that as well. There is a place for lean animal proteins, dairy and even wine (!!) but we’ll include them in a healthy and more balanced way.
If weight loss is your goal (and that’s OKAY!) then together we will focus on the underlying habits that create weight loss. Surrounding yourself with healthy choices, friends, and accountability is part of what will help you see results and together we will do this in the healthiest way possible….while figuring out a style that works FOR YOU. For many, shifting into a WHOLE FOODS lifestyle will create weight loss initially. After we feel pretty good about that we can begin focusing on the NUTRITION DENSITY of foods and learn BALANCE in everyday eating. The combination of this is essentially what my coaching is all about. Will you learn how to journal for weight loss? Maybe. It truly depends on where you are in your health journey and we will work to create a process that WORKS with your lifestyle.

I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my knowledge, we co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.
My role is to guide and mentor you while providing ongoing support and guidance. Together we will work on helping you make sustainable changes that will improve your health for the long term. I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. The word HEALTH means different things to different people but the one commonality and requirement is the desire to live the healthiest life possible in the body you are in. Together we dig down to figure out where you are now, and what changes we can make to help you get to where you really want to be.
